1. Congress Skat Tournament
Tournament Plan
The tournament plan is part of an official Skat tournament. The requirements are set out in the Skat Tournament Rules Section 4.2.
- a) Organizer: segal
- b) Entry fee: none (donation welcome, recommendation 10 euros))
- c) Scope: 2 series of 12 rounds (can still be changed if the tables are divided accordingly)
- d) Number of players per table (priority in the order given):
- with a maximum of 40 participants and the number of participants divisible by 4: 4
- with a maximum of 39 participants and the number of participants divisible by 3: 3
- otherwise: 4, until a maximum of three tables of 3 have to be filled up
- e) Use of the funds: financing of the means of play and prizes, any surplus will be used to equip the next skat tournament at 38c3, the organizer and the referees perform their functions on a voluntary basis.
- f) The organizer reserves the right to exclude players from the tournament without giving reasons. Section 5.3 of the Skat Tournament Rules shall apply.
- g) Referees are segal, ... and ...; disputes must first be discussed amicably at the table in accordance with the Skat rules, otherwise they must be reported directly to one of the referees. They are decided jointly by all referees in accordance with the applicable Skat rules and, if possible, in the interests of fairness. The International Skat Rules always take precedence. Legal recourse is excluded. This is purely a fun event without any further evaluation effect.
- h) The game is played in accordance with the International Skat Rules and the Skat Tournament Rules (see International Skat Rules) in the currently valid versions. An exception to this rule with regard to Ramsch when the game is otherwise finished without playing can be made by a simple majority vote of all participants and is binding for all tables. If a vote is desired, it is carried out by a simple show of hands of the participants; in the event of a tie, there is no Ramsch.
Participation in the tournament constitutes acceptance of the regulations.
